About Me
Growing up, I was passionate about sports, but as life progressed, I gradually stepped away from regular workouts. I explored various classes but often lost motivation after a short time. Living in a high-rise building with a yoga studio right below my apartment, I passed by it daily—curious yet hesitant. One day, I mustered the courage to walk in and ask, “What is yoga?” It was a pivotal moment. The studio was offering a 30-minute spin class followed by a yoga session. Although I had paid for the spin class, I decided to skip it and focus solely on yoga.
I unrolled my mat at the back of the room, filled with excitement and nerves. When the instructor asked if there were any newcomers, I raised my hand, drawing attention to myself—something I tried to avoid. My cheeks flushed as I felt the glances from others, wishing I could blend into the walls. As the class began and I moved through the poses, self-consciousness crept in. I was hyper-aware of every shaky limb and unsteady breath.
However, as the minutes passed, I began to focus less on how I appeared to others and more on the flow of the class itself. With every breath, I started to immerse myself in the movements, letting go of any self-consciousness and truly embracing the experience. By the end of that class, I felt a pleasant soreness in my core, a gentle reminder that something powerful had taken place. I found myself hugging my knees into my chest, a strange yet comforting feeling in my body, unsure of why it felt so good. That sensation quieted the voice of embarrassment, replacing it with a growing sense of curiosity and a spark of excitement I had never expected.
That first yoga class ignited a passion within me that changed the course of my life. What began as a simple search for relief from physical discomfort soon blossomed into a profound love for the practice. It was no longer just about stretching or finding temporary relief from aches and pains, it became about exploring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Yoga opened my eyes to a new way of being, teaching me how to stay present, calm, and grounded, no matter what life threw my way.
Over the past six years, I have had the honor of guiding others on their yoga journeys, helping them discover their own sense of balance and peace. I specialize in a variety of styles, including yin, vinyasa, and aerial arts, and my approach to teaching is both vibrant and adaptable. I believe yoga is for everyone and for every body, no matter your experience level, and I tailor each class to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are a seasoned yogi looking to deepen your practice or someone just starting out, I am here to support you every step of the way.
I invite you to embark on a transformative journey with me—one that will not only strengthen and stretch your body but also open your mind and nourish your soul. Together, we will create moments of connection and insight that will stay with you long after you leave the mat. Yoga is more than just a physical practice; it is an opportunity for self-discovery, healing, and growth. Let us celebrate movement, embrace change, and explore the transformative power of yoga together. Your adventure begins here, and I cannot wait to be part of it with you!
